The venue’s club scene is probably what Potato Head Beach Club is most known for, and music is played throughout the day and night with performances both from local and international DJs. Potato Head Beach Club: Review
The first thing that should be said about the Potato Head Beach Club is that it is busy! Crowds already start to form outside the venue before opening, which is at 10 am. Guests are regularly on waiting lists for sunbeds and cabanas, and the club can reach capacity quickly. This might leave potential visitors concerned about the maintenance of the club, but guests are always pleasantly surprised by how vigilant staff are in regard to cleanliness and hygiene. The impeccable bathrooms are something that visitors regularly comment upon!
Once you’ve secured your spot at a cabana or sunbed, one of the first things you’ll notice is the relaxed vibe. While some visitors do love to dance and party, others are happy to soak up the sun, cool off in the pool, and enjoy the ambiance. That’s one of the things that is great about Potato Head Beach Club, there’s no expectation for what you should do, and you can simply just ‘be’.
Of course, you’ll soon be looking for something to quench your thirst, and the Beach Club certainly has you covered. With four restaurants and two bars – one of which you can quite literally swim up to- there is something to wet every palette. Potato Head Beach Club is well known for their innovative attitude towards cocktails, and you’ll likely find an enticing combination of ingredients on offer that you’ve never heard of! There are four different restaurants which cater to a variety of different taste buds. There’s the Pizza Garden for those looking for the familiar, Kaum which serves traditional tribal recipes, Ijen, a zero-waste restaurant serving fish, and Tanaman a cutting-edge, plant-based, culinary venue.
VeganBali Staff Review
Summary
The only reason to visit this place is for drinks and the awesome pool. There are barely 3 or 4 Vegan options in their food menu which is dis-heartening. The good thing is that the options are clearly marked as vegan. So the staff clearly understands what “vegan food” is. I would visit here again, but this might not be a hub where I hang out occasionally.
The music at Potato Head is also second-to-none, with sets played by local and international DJs. While there, you’re likely to get a taste of the most recent hits and creatively re-worked classics. The music completes the overall ambience of the Potato Head Beach Club, creating a stunning and luxurious sanctuary that anyone visiting Bali should indulge in. Don’t just take our word for it however- Potato Head is voted one of the top 50 clubs to visit in the world!
So If you like beach clubs, then this should definitely be a part of your Bali Itinerary.
