This might leave potential visitors concerned about the maintenance of the club, but guests are always pleasantly surprised by how vigilant staff are in regard to cleanliness and hygiene. The only reason to visit this place is for drinks and the awesome pool. There are barely 3 or 4 Vegan options in their food menu which is dis-heartening. The good thing is that the options are clearly marked as vegan. So the staff clearly understands what “vegan food” is. I would visit here again, but this might not be a hub where I hang out occasionally.
The music at Potato Head is also second-to-none, with sets played by local and international DJs. While there, you’re likely to get a taste of the most recent hits and creatively re-worked classics. The music completes the overall ambience of the Potato Head Beach Club, creating a stunning and luxurious sanctuary that anyone visiting Bali should indulge in. Don’t just take our word for it however- Potato Head is voted one of the top 50 clubs to visit in the world!

As mentioned, the Beach Club gets busy quickly, so you should make sure you make any restaurant reservations in advance to guarantee a table. The reservation process is easy and can be completed with a few clicks on Potato Heads’ website. If you’re staying at one of the resorts’ hotels, then you should be able to book in advance at the front desk, or have one of the friendly members of staff help you. You can of course try your luck and hope to gain a table on the day, but you may be waiting a very long time to be seated!
Cabanas and Sunbeds also need to be reserved in advance. This is done on a first come, first serve basis, so many visitors find that arriving at the venue 30 minutes before 10am, which is when they open, can help secure some of the best spots. Cabanas are only available for a rental period of six hours, so you’ll need to bear this in mind when planning your visit.
The dress code for Potato Head varies depending on where you are. The restaurants stipulate ‘smart-casual’ and the poolside allows for ‘casual beach wear’ therefore, if you’re looking to swim in the pool as well as have a bite to eat, make sure you bring a suitable change of clothing.
Potato Head Beach Club opens at 10am and closes at 2am, meaning you can visit for the morning, the evening, the night, or all three! As previously mentioned, if you’re eager to book a cabana or sunbed, you’ll need to get there early to beat the crowds.
Potato Head Beach Club does not specify an age of entry, however, the legal drinking age in Bali is 21. If you look younger than 21, proof of age will be required to purchase alcohol.
There is no entry fee at Potato Head Beach Club. However, if you wish to use a sunbed or a cabana there is a required minimum spend respectively of 500,000 IDR ($37) or 800,000 IDR ($59) for each service.
